In the United States an average a visit to the dermatologist costs $225.  Our team is designing an algorithm that will allow Americans  to save money from unnecessary doctor visits, while decreasing the probability of the severe consequences of melanoma through early and accurate detection.

Our computer-aided algorithm will allow people to frequently check for potential melanoma on their skin in the comfort of their own home.

DEI

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

Historically machine learning algorithms have excluded people of color when training their datasets.  This results in major consequences for a large group of people who are looking to benefit from the advances of machine learning.  Our team is fully dedicated to thoroughly training our data to detect melanoma on a variety of skin pigmentations.
